9 courses for technical level students are in production on the TIM Tec distance education platform. The initiative is in line with the objectives of PRONATEC (National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment), one of the priorities of the federal government. The courses will be free and will focus on Website Development, Game Design, Mobile Device Publishing and Programming.
The pilot course, HTML5: Introduction to the Front End, will be given throughout November in partnership with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul and with the Centro de Formação Cultural Cidade Tiradentes, of the city of São Paulo. Each institution will offer the course – which was prepared and recorded by the author of the book “HTML5-Embarque Imediato”, Fábio Flatschart.
At the end of this stage, students who participate in the pilot course will give their opinions about the platform and the course, helping to improve them. The classes will be tutored by Fábio himself, who will monitor the students’ development.
