Understanding the importance of financial planning and how to apply it in practice – would avoid debt situations, and make dreams come true. This is the proposal of the new course on “Financial Education”, launched on the online course platform TIM Tec (cursos.timtec.com.br), of Instituto TIM.
The content, presented in 24 chapters, is based on the financial challenges faced by the Santos Family. From the need to review their expenses, they learn about cost of living, analysis, and loan evaluation, know alternatives to deal with debt, cut expenses and set goals, such as conducting a trip. Throughout the classes, economic concepts are also presented, such as net income, gross and extra, fixed, or variable income, taxes and much more. To practice their knowledge, students are invited to create a fictitious family and make their financial planning.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has worsened the financial situation of many families. At the same time, it has reinforced the importance of connectivity and popularized the distance learning, which brings opportunities for personal evolution in a simpler and more accessible way,” says Mario Girasole, president of Instituto TIM. “The objective is to help the Brazilian to establish a healthier and more perennial relationship with money, which passes through the definition of routes of action. The course will help students, in an objective way, to set motivating and realistic goals,” adds Alexandra Pain, Head of Marketing of C6 Bank.
Like all the content of the TIM Tec platform, the course is free and can be attended by anyone at any time – you just need to have access to the Internet. Are you ready to start your financial planning?
