The Challenge
According to the publication 2015 Brazil Science Museums and Centers, there are at least 268 venues focused on popularizing science in Brazil. They are museums, zoos, planetariums, botanical gardens that work with surrounding school communities and offer spaces for education and entertainment to the broader audience. Albeit receiving governmental investments and support from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations, many of these institutions require support and resources from private organizations to boost the reach of their actions.
