A new vision of math teaching

Instituto TIM brought to Brazil a new approach to the teaching of Math to children, O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil. In this context, Harvard University professors Bob and Ellen Kaplan, creators of the approach, came to Brazil to train 50 educators. Now, IT has made 17 videos available online.

O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil is evaluated

The evaluation of the impact of O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil in schools all over the country has been concluded using questionnaires. Developed under the guidance of Bob and Ellen Kaplan, creators of the approach, the evaluation seeks to measure, amongst other aspects, student engagement.
