The event was organized by the Santo Amaro Regional Direction of Education (DRE), from S\u00e3o Paulo-SP, and held on September 25th and 26th at CEU Alvarenga.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 S\u00e9rgio was invited after the 3rd TIM Faz Ci\u00eancia training meeting at Santo Amaro DRE, on August 3rd. The professor was responsible for the training, and the DRE team wanted to share the presentation&#8217;s content with other teachers in the network. \u201cTIM Faz Ci\u00eancia created a bond with the Santo Amaro DRE which solidified beyond the program,\u201d said Jos\u00e9 S\u00e9rgio.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture had some adjustments to cover all public school teachers, not just those who participate in TIM Faz Ci\u00eancia. The topic was &#8220;The crisis in contemporary education and the school form&#8221;. \u201cThe focus of the lecture was the feeling we have that education is going through a time of crisis, based on the philosophy that characterizes school,\u201d Jos\u00e9 S\u00e9rgio explains. The teacher made a reflection on the role of schools both to transmit knowledge and to train individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The II Sharing Knowledge\u00a0Congress was attended by about 80 teachers, who reported successful initiatives in the classroom.
