Tablets for OBMEP medal-winners

Instituto TIM, an OBMEP partner since 2014, attended the National Awarding Ceremony of the Brazilian Public School Math Olympics (OBMEP), held on July 20th, and gave an extra incentive to the 501 gold medallists, with the drawing of 100 tablets at the end of the awarding ceremony.

Classes of Círculo have started

The classes of O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil in 2015 have already begun. This year, new cities participate in the project: Manaus-AM, Marabá-PA and Novo Hamburgo-RS. Through O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil, The Math Circle approach is taken to small groups of children.

TFC is an official project in 6 cities

Six municipal departments of Education have decided to adopt TIM Faz Ciência as an official project: in the cities of Florianópolis-SC, Porto Alegre-RS, São Bernardo do Campo-SP, Santo André-SP, Teresópolis-RJ and Itapevi-SP. The program will contribute to the curriculum of municipal schools in 2015.
