New cycle of the ‘Exponential Education’ course begins with enthusiasm and promising expectations

The start of another cycle of the “Exponential Education” course marks the beginning of an exciting journey for children and young people who are looking to learn more about entrepreneurship and technology. The program, which is a partnership between the TIM Institute and the NGO One By One, proposes the creation of a fictitious application development company as a path to technological literacy and the development of entrepreneurial skills. The classes are weekly and free of charge, aimed at people with disabilities assisted by the NGO and their families. Under the dedicated guidance of teacher Julia Novaes, the new class began its activities in March, plunging into a universe of learning and discovery.

“We’re reaching more and more children, and that’s exciting! Because they’re still little, they’re full of energy. It’s contagious! We hope to end the cycle with prodigies already making up their minds about the future,” shares teacher Julia, describing the contagious energy surrounding the first classes of the new cycle. By broadening the age range, the team aims not only to train students, but also to guide them in making decisions about their futures, highlighting the course’s commitment to preparing young people for the challenges of the job market and modern life.

“With Artificial Intelligence approaching the population, it’s essential that young people know how to use the power of the internet and technology. The students are super excited, interested and, above all, delighted with the technology,” adds Julia. From the very first lesson, the participants showed a great interest in technology, willing to dive headfirst into the challenges and opportunities offered by the course. One inspiring example was shared by the teacher: the commitment of student Davi Lucas, just 11 years old, who after the first lesson already started creating spreadsheets to practice what he had learned.

The positive impact of “Exponential Education” is evident, especially in the expansion of the participants’ future possibilities. Many ex-students have advanced in their careers and studies after completing the course and a large number have turned to the world of technology in search of professionalization and training in the area. With a dedicated team and motivated participants, a future full of transformative opportunities is being built. And it’s only just beginning!
