AWC 2023: Last Week for Entries!

The countdown to the next edition of Academic Working Capital (AWC) is coming to an end. This is the last week for those interested to register and take advantage of the opportunity. Applications will be open until August 27th, which is the last chance to participate in this edition of the TIM Institute program, which aims to boost entrepreneurship and innovation among university students.
To enroll in the AWC, university students must complete the form available on the official website of the program. With a special focus on promoting innovation, the AWC offers participants the opportunity to transform their innovative ideas, initially developed as Course Completion Works (CCW), into tangible projects for the market. The program provides theoretical, practical and financial support, representing an unmissable opportunity for those who seek to realize their entrepreneurial visions.
Leandro Queiroz, AWC’s content coordinator, highlights the main potential of this edition: “We will start in September and not in May like last year. This allows us to bring more mature CCWs, which were developed in the first half of the year, in addition to also incorporate projects that are starting their journey this semester. This diversity and potential are incredible.”
The AWC is open to students of all degrees, as long as they have projects aimed at technological or innovative solutions. By participating in the program, the groups, made up of up to four members, will have access to face-to-face activities in São Paulo, such as workshops and the exciting Investment Fair, which marks the end of the program cycle.
“There are many reasons to enroll in the AWC. The program offers a 100% marketing vision on top of the project, it is a journey of validation. In addition, the student will expand his network of relationships and will have financial resources to prototype the idea that culminates at our great presentation event for an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. And it’s a free program! All of this demonstrates that the AWC is ideal for university students who want to undertake”, emphasizes Leandro Queiroz.
AWC’s track record of success is evident, a number of innovative projects have been driven since its launch in 2015. More than 500 students from 70 universities across the country have participated in the program, resulting in the creation of 114 promising startups.
Former student Mateus Alves, who participated in the last edition and is currently expanding his startup, shares his experience: “AWC has enhanced my professional career, teaching me how to turn ideas into products and strengthening the importance of hypothesis validation methodology. In addition to providing valuable mentorship and networking, I have established lasting connections with professionals across industries that I would be unlikely to achieve through other means. Overall, AWC is an exceptional opportunity for those who want to take their ideas to the next level and are willing to invest time and effort in an entirely new learning environment.”
If you are a student with innovative ideas and want to turn your CCW into a successful venture, don’t miss the chance to enroll in Academic Working Capital until August 27th. This is a great opportunity to walk the path of entrepreneurship and innovation. For more information and registration, visit the official AWC website: www.institutotim.org.br/awc.
