Distance Learning grows in Brazil

The number of students registered in distance learning courses has grown in Brazil. According to the INEP/MEC Census of Higher Education, the number of students enrolled in DL rose 12.2% between 2011 and 2012, while the demand for face-to-face courses grew 3.1%.

TIM Tec platform is already in tests

9 courses for technical level students are in production on the TIM Tec distance education platform. The initiative is in line with the objectives of PRONATEC (National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment), one of the priorities of the federal government.
