Instituto TIM’s 2019 Activities Report is now available, a document with information on the Institute’s projects and achievements over the past year, as well as the main numbers and testimonies of participants and authorities.
The projects covered in the report are its own initiatives such as Academic Working Capital, Instituto TIM-OBMEP Scholarships, Bateria do Instituto TIM and O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil, in addition to the Garantéa-ISS project, sponsored by Instituto TIM, and the support to the Centro Brasileiro da Criança e do Adolescente Casa de Passagem Ana Vasconcelos.
The report also includes the main achievements of Instituto TIM in 2019. Among them is the winning by the former participant of the AWC program, Anna Luísa Beserra, of the UN Young Champions of the Earth Award, which recognizes young entrepreneurs working to create positive environmental impact.
Also, in 2019, the first class of Instituto TIM-OBMEP Scholarships holders graduated and the first flight of experiments created by Brazilian students to the International Space Station sponsored by Instituto TIM occurred, through the Garantéa-ISS project.
Another highlight was TIM’s achievement of the Anatel Acessibilidade em Telecomunicações Award, celebrated with a presentation of the Bateria do Instituto TIM to the company employees, and Instituto TIM’s support to the National Week of Science and Technology for the sixth time.
