TIM Institute’s Drums perform at the Mini Bloco carnival in Rio de Janeiro
The TIM Institute’s Drums resumed its activities last Saturday, January 13, bringing with it the contagious enthusiasm that marks the group. The next meetings promise a unique learning experience, especially focused on the Bateria’s intensive preparation for its traditional participation in the Mini Bloco carnival, scheduled for February 3, at Xavier de Brito square, at ten o’clock in the morning.
In preparation for Carnival, the Bateria will be performing at a general rehearsal open to the public at the Artur da Távola Center of Carioca Music (CMC), scheduled for January 27 at 11 am. With its vibrant energy and commitment to inclusion, the TIM Institute’s Drums promises a carnival full of joy for Rio’s revelers.
Special end of year
The return to school followed a well-deserved break that began on December 16, a special day when the Bateria held a lively open rehearsal at the CMC attended by Anna Carolina Meireles, TIM’s Senior Sustainability and Social Investment Manager and Gabriela Barros, TIM’s Corporate Social Responsibility Consultant. On the same date, the TIM Institute, in tune with the Christmas spirit, presented staff and participants with traditional Christmas hampers, adding a festive touch to the well-deserved break.
