Students in the final phase of graduation have one more chance to participate in the 2016 edition of the Academic Working Capital program. The registrations for the 2nd 2016 AWC call opened this Monday, February 15. The program offers financial, technical and business support so that students can turn their senior research project into a technology-based business.
Pre-registration must be made via the program’s website. The group’s representative must complete the form available on the registration page to receive instructions on how to assemble their proposal, which can be sent until April 17. The results will be announced on April 25, and the students will participate in an online workshop in May before starting the mentorship with AWC monitors.
The groups have to be composed of 2-4 members and at least one of them must be enrolled in the execution step of the Final Project. Registration will be accepted from students in universities in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Federal District.
The 2016 edition of AWC started with Workshop I, held between January 18 and 20 at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP). The groups are already receiving advices from AWC monitors to carry out their projects. See the public call notice and more information on the program’s website.
